Potatoes boiled and peeled-4 large
Green chillies deseeded and finely chopped-3-4
Red chili flakes -1 tsp
Green coriander leaves
Dry ginger powder- 1tsp
Beaten curd- 2tbsp
Tamarind chutney -2tbsp
Sauce – 2tbsp
Green Chutney – 2tbsp
Chat masala – ½ tsp
- In a bowl mix all the ingredients and make smooth dough.
- Then make small round balls from this dough and press to flatten them to give the shape of tikki.
- Take a nonstick pan keep it over medium flame and grease it with oil place the prepared tikki on it.
- Cook it till it becomes golden brown then flip the side and get it shallow fried from both sides.
In a dish set the hot tikkis and pour layers of beaten curd, tamarind chutney or sauce and garnish them with chopped green coriander. Sprinkle a bit of ‘chat masala’ to add the flavors.
